Custom Policy

I take great pride in working with all of my clients. My goal is to complete each and every project on time without sacrificing quality.

To accomplish this goal, I have established certain criteria that I follow. Clients are scheduled by appointment only; this insures that no client will be inconvenienced with wait times

I schedule only those projects that can be successfully completed in a given timely manner, this ensures that all deadlines are met.

Clients are asked to call ahead to cancel appointments. Any missed appointments, without notification, are subject to a charge of $25.00.

An extensive number of designs, patterns, notions, and fabrics, are available to accommodate special order request. All notions, patterns and fabric will be billed directly to the client. Quality and client satisfaction is my main concern. I welcome those clients who wish to provide their own notions and fabric, however, I reserve the right to refuse to work with fabric of inferior quality.

All consultations are billed at the rate of $50.00 per hour. Whether or not you elect to employ my services to construct your garment/s, the first hour consultation fee will be due at time of consultation. Subsequent consultation hour/s will be billed at the normal rate and therefore will be added to your final bill.

All consultation fees are due at the time of consultation. All orders less than $500 must be paid in full before any work is done. For orders $500 & up will require a 50% deposit on labor and 100 % cost of fabric and supplies. The remaining balance is due at the first fitting.

All charges for labor, notions, fabric, etc., will be discussed with the client in detail prior to acceptance of the contract.

An approximate estimate may be given at your consultation. Some garments may not be given a close estimate. Custom work is done at an hourly rate of $50. To ensure quality, it will take as long as it takes. The price is the price. If you have budget concerns, you will need to address those at the consultation. Not all clients request for custom work will be accepted.

Any changes in design, fabric, major alterations and other changes will result in additional costs.

Prior to signing the contract, clients are encouraged to read the Business Policy, and ask any questions they have regarding policies and procedures. You will be asked to initial the section of the contract entitled "Business Policy Received", thus confirming that you have been given a copy of the Business Policy and have a thorough understanding of its contents.
